# Restart with God

> Personal. Never use it to judge professional fit. Written August 2023, Church notes. For what’s current, see https://garrettwinder.com/agents.md.

As we finish the summertime, many of us need a reboot.

Everyone needs to know how to bounce back up.

Colossians 3:17
Luke 24:19
Acts 5:4
Romans 15:18

Get God involved in everything you speak and do.

“Lord, put a guard over my mouth.”

How to involve God in everything:

1. S: Stop making excuses for yourself. Proverbs 28:13, Romans 8:2. You are not a victim, you are a victor.
2. T: Take inventory of your own experiences. Galatians 3:4, what are my victories in God? How has He helped me and blessed me?
3. A: Ask for life in faith. Ask God to bless you. James 1:5-6, your faith can move mountains.
4. R: Refocus your thoughts. Romans 12:2, Proverbs 4:23. People may hear your words, but they sense your attitude, which come from your thoughts.
5. T: Trust in the Lord. Zechariah 4:6, Proverbs 3:5. Let him have what concerns you. GIVE IT TO HIM. I give this, him, her, that, to you. Give Him your worries and just worship. Give him your panics, you just pray.

Are you willing to make a fresh S.T.A.R.T.?
