- Got sick and lost sight of the plan. Showed king of Babylon everything that the country has.
- 2 Kings 20:16-19 everything will be carried off to Babylon.
- Morning person and fitness person
- So caught up in the moment that lost sight of the future.
- The things that we do are not just for us today, but for the next generation.
- If we want to be faithful ministers of the gospel we have to have eyes for the future.
- Statistics:
- Teens are twice as likely as adults to be atheist
- 3 out of 5 say they’re Christian
- 43% consider personal achievements define self worth
- 42% activities sense of self worth
- 20% want to be married by time of 30
- Society is trying to take God out of life
- 57% of teens use screen time 4 hours or more
- 26% have 8 hours or more
- 41% of Christian parents talk to kids about healthy usage.
- 24% feel unprepared to talk to their kids about this stuff
- Nothing comes above our relationship with Jesus
