Three factors of favor
Filed under #churchnotes on December 29, 20241. Righteousness
“Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” — Psalms 5:12
- Stick with Gods way of thinking, speaking and acting throughout your life.
2. Lifetime
“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
- We need to plan to stay in His blessings.
- Plan to love Him, honor Him, live in His ways, for our entire lifetime.
- Choose to live on mission for God.
3. Seek it
“I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.” — Psalm 119:58
- We can pray and receive it.
- Ask God for it.
Favor makes you likable, lovable, gives you a better life, etc.
“As you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.” — 2 Corinthians 1:11
